José Antunes – Yoni Surfboards
José is a 33 years old self-taught craftsman. His childhood was spent in the countryside tending goats and that inspired his propensity to artistry and his ecological sensitivity. Ten years ago, mostly because of his children, he started to create wooden toys. His interest is to create great, enduring and high quality toys that encourage imagination and creativity.
He started to built new games for kids and it didn’t took too long before the grown ups also wanted to play around. That’s how Yoni Surfboards were born. Each board is handcrafted in Portugal with local and sustainable materials and a minimum impact on the environment.
